  • I provide therapy in English and Korean.

  • The frequency of sessions and duration of our work will depend on your needs.

  • All sessions are held via telehealth only at this time.

Therapy for Adults

  • I work with adults navigating…

    • Anxiety, stress, and burnout

    • Emotional overwhelm (feeling too much at once or shutting down)

    • Trauma (not only major events, but also the subtler wounds that still affect you today)

    • Perfectionism and procrastination (yes, they often go hand in hand)

    • ADHD/executive functioning challenges

    • Relationship concerns (attachment, repetitive conflict patterns)

    • Identity concerns

    • Life transitions

  • We might be a good fit if…

    • You appear high-functioning on the outside but feel stuck, self-critical, or disconnected on the inside—whether you're in a demanding career like tech or finance, or you've "made it" but still feel like something's missing.

    • You want therapy that goes deeper than just coping skills, but still helps you build practical tools for managing emotions, stress, boundaries, and relationships.

    • You’ve heard you “could benefit from DBT,” but don’t necessarily need, want, or have access to a full comprehensive DBT program.

    • You’re looking for a therapist who understands where your patterns come from while also gently challenging you to change what no longer feels sustainable.

    • You’re looking for a therapist who will not simply say “yes” to everything, but also won’t judge or push you before you’re ready.

Therapy for Teens

  • I work with adolescents who struggle with…

    • Anxiety and mood concerns

    • Perfectionism and academic pressure

    • Difficulty regulating emotions

    • Family and peer relationships

    • Identity development (e.g., racial/cultural identity, gender identity, sexual orientation)

    • Body image concerns

  • My work with teens often includes:

    • DBT skills for managing difficult emotions, coping with stress, and communicating effectively

    • Support with ADHD-related challenges, including organization, procrastination, and impulsivity

    • Space for teens to feel accepted for who they are, rather than “fixing” behaviors

  • Parents are involved as appropriate, through parent sessions, family sessions, or periodic check-ins focused on supporting your teen. At the same time, teens need privacy for therapy to work, so we’ll discuss the balance between parent involvement and confidentiality at the beginning of treatment and adjust as needed. I always communicate with parents around acute safety concerns.

  • When helpful, I also collaborate with schools, psychiatrists, pediatricians, or other providers.

Therapy for Couples/Families

  • I work with couples, partners, and families navigating conflict, communication breakdowns, major transitions, emotional disconnection, or recurring patterns that feel hard to change.

  • Our work may focus on:

    • Understanding the deeper patterns underneath conflict. Rather than treating one person as “the problem,” we’ll look at the cycle you keep getting caught in and how attachment patterns, family-of-origin experiences, cultural upbringing, and old wounds shape the relationship today.

    • Building concrete tools for communication and repair. We’ll work on navigating difficult conversations, expressing needs more clearly, setting boundaries, and responding to each other with more honesty and care.

    • Navigating transitions and changing roles. This may include cohabitation, marriage, parenting, shifting family roles, intergenerational conflict, or other moments when relationships are being stretched or redefined.

  • My approach is informed by attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and DBT.

Where do I begin?

1. Schedule a free consultation.

Consultation calls are 15 minutes and complimentary. During this call, we’ll talk about what you’re looking for, how I can help, and any questions you may have. It’s also a chance for us to get a feel for each other and see if we might be a good fit! And if I’m not the best match for your concerns, I’d be happy to point you in the right direction.

2. Schedule our first session.

If it seems like a good fit, I will help you set up an initial session and share some intake forms to complete via a secure portal. During this first session, we will talk through what brings you in, your background, and what you’re hoping for, so we can start building a plan together. Initial sessions are typically 60 minutes.

3. Begin ongoing therapy.

After our initial session, we’ll start meeting regularly—usually weekly—to explore what’s been coming up and to begin working on your concerns. As we go, we’ll check in about what’s working, adjust our approach as needed, and make sure the pace feels right for you.
